About Group Life

We believe that sustained life change happens best within the context of structured relationships. Thus our desire is that everyone who attends North Point, Buckhead, or Browns Bridge be involved in a small group. A small group is the place where people discuss real life and real issues - the place to celebrate the successes and good times of life and the place to comfort one another in the tough and disappointing times. Group members come to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

We offer two kinds of small group experiences: community groups and Starting Point groups.

Community groups are small groups of five to six couples or six to eight individuals who meet in someone's home for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and accountability. They are closed groups with a commitment to meet together for 12-24 months. We offer community groups for college students, singles, married couples, and ladies.

Starting Point is a 10-week small group environment where people can explore faith and experience community.

Because leaders have a tremendous impact on the small group experience for their group members, we want to train and equip them to lead well. We bring leaders together for regular training events and give them access to Groups staff who are available to answer questions that come up between meetings. And we have created GroupLeaders.org to equip group leaders with the tools they need to create meaningful group experiences for everyone in their groups.
