Care Contacts

In many cases, small groups will be able to provide care to their group members. In fact, the primary way North Point provides care to its attendees is through community groups. For more challenging situations, group leaders may want to enlist the guidance of their Groups Directors. In addition, North Point Ministries offers a variety of resources through the Care Network.

Basic Training
If we are going to learn how to comfort others in their times of need, we first need to be comforted by God. Basic Training is a study of the Beatitudes designed to help us learn and apply God's truth in our lives so we can be healed and comforted by Him. It is a required course of study for Care Network volunteers.

Counseling Referrals
Some care situations need guidance from a professional, whether it's to navigate a current trial or to heal from a past one. The Care Network staff can provide a personalized referral to a competent and caring Christian counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist for a wide variety of situations.

Hope Ministry
The Hope Ministry pairs trained individuals with those who are going through difficult times. Hope Mentors meet one-on-one with the individuals to offer guidance, support, and encouragement.

Intimate Encounters
Intimate Encounters offers practical help to make good marriages better and hope and healing for troubled marriages. Designed for couples to experience together, this course will help participants gain a better understanding of their spouses' deepest feelings and needs, resulting in a new closeness.

MoneyWise
There are times when we face financial hardships and can use assistance and/or guidance. The MoneyWise team serves North Point's members and regular attendees who want more than a "quick fix" to a financial challenge. The MoneyWise Team wants to help restore or transform the person or family to a sound, God-honoring financial path.

Oasis Divorce Recovery
Separation and divorce are among life's most difficult and painful experiences. Oasis is a special place of encouragement, learning, and sharing. Oasis meets weekly, providing participants with an ongoing "support team" as they deal with the issues surrounding their separations or divorces.

2 to 1 Premarital Mentoring
Preparation for marriage involves much more than detailing a beautiful wedding. Our desire is to help you establish a marriage that will endure and that you will enjoy for a lifetime. The Premarital Mentoring Ministry trains mentors to walk with you through this time and offers resources to prepare you for what lies ahead.
