Community Service

Are you looking for an opportunity for your group to connect outside of the group meeting? Maybe a change of pace from the game night, movie night, or Braves game that serves as your group’s typical “planned interruption”? We may have just what you’re looking for. Many groups have found it rewarding to spend some time together serving others. Whether it’s serving meals at a shelter, building a Habitat house, or refereeing basketball games for inner-city youth, there’s something about coming together to serve others that just naturally deepens our relationships. This is also an incredible way to pursue Influence with Outsiders together as a group.

With all that in mind, we have developed The INTERSECT Project, which provides service opportunities for individuals and community groups. We've formed partnerships with several nonprofit organizations that focus on aiding the homeless, low-income families, or children at risk in the areas surrounding our campuses.  For more information, please visit www.theintersectproject.org.
